Das Hotel in München is a gem nestled in the vibrant Maxvorstadt district, ideal for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the local culture. During my recent stay for New Year celebrations, I relished the short stroll to the beautiful English Garden, perfect for soothed runs at dawn. The complimentary breakfast buffet, featuring fresh pastries and all-day coffee, set a fantastic tone for our busy days of exploration with friends, though I wish the breakfast room had a bit more space for a cozy gathering. Despite the slight feeling of decline over the years in comparison to past experiences, the sleek room design and attentive staff impressed me - particularly the helpful receptionist who ensured our luggage concerns were swiftly addressed. In this lively area, the plethora of nearby cafés and restaurants certainly enhanced our experience, providing ample opportunities for post-run caffeine boosts and culinary adventures. While I have fond memories of this hotel from previous years, I'll be on the lookout for new options that can impress like Das Hotel once did.
